Fruits basket, tohru.?

I admire the character tohru so much. It makes me sad how shes almost everything im not lol. shes so kind maybe too kind.. always helpful, she dosent retaliate to mean words or physical blows.. shes just so sweet.. never complaining and well wow. she inspires me when evr im in really bad moods. is it possible for someone to b like tohru. although i wish i could take some of her traits its kind of impossible for someone to be soooo sweet. what do u guys think. Are any of u similar to tohru or do u wish u were.?do u think its possible to be like her?

Don't think so 'cause anyone like Tohru would end up like Kureno, sad and closed off from the world. Especially in our world. Like if she'd cry at something even remotely scary, in our world people would just laugh. Sad but true. If we had a world where people could tolerate the kindness of someone like Tohru, it would be a UTOPIA. :-(
Reply:I dont think so. she should have had a mental break down by now. Poor girl. But yeah maybe in their time but nowadays people would just take advantage of your kindness. see kyo and and yuki appreciated and were thoughtful of her. Our world is a cruel world which would crush tohru. yup, sad there aren't much more tohru's out there
Reply:I wish I were like her. . . she is always looking at the bright side of life . . she's too kind . . and sometimes, people think she is already an idiot because she just let anybody say things to her, she doesn't even fight back . . . She is a ALMOST PERFECT character. . .





I don't think there is a possiblity for someone to be like her because in our world . . when we experience something bad, we can't help but be depressed and be sad . . just imagine if someone was really like her, people would say she is mentally retarded because it looks like she doesn't feel anything. . .





If ever there is someone like her, I'd like to be his/her friend . . I'll be lucky to have a friend like her, that way, I won't get depressed often cause there is somebody who is like her/him by my side . . . ..
Reply:I admire her too. She's too kind, i would say extremely kind, she never opposes to anything, she likes helping in whatever she can. Probably there might be someone like her, you know, because maybe there's another person that feels grateful for EVREYTHING and i mean everything, even for the blankets and the pillow covers she/he has, even for the tiniest thing. Yes i believe, at least i want to believe there is someone like her, it would be really nice. Yes i wish i were like her at least trying not to oopose to anything, i consider myself a helpful one, i love helping, i will compare that to her. Never give up, if you want to find someone like her, then you will, just never surrender before anything, i'm sure there's someone that special for each of us (all humans) that will comprehend and understand our existence, and will, of course, love us.
Reply:no i wouldn't. if i kept everthing bottled up like she does i would have a mental breakdown. if you never complain about anything what kind of friendships can she have???sorry to say this but if she doesn't grow a backbone she's going to get herself overwhelmed by everything people want her to do to make themselves happy





if someone was really like her i would pity them. they would get walked all over but sadly they wouldn't think to care.
