Fruits Basket: Who has it worse? Yuki, or Kyo?

This is according to manga, mostly. I side for Yuki. After volume 13, I was like, Yuki-sama! Yuki is apart of "the group". The Group has Hatsuharu, Hatori, Yuki, and Shii-chan. Kya...I even made fan art...

Fruits Basket: Who has it worse? Yuki, or Kyo?
I love Fruits Basket, especially Kyo! I love him to death! In the beginning I thought that Kyo had it worse but now I think Yuki has it far worse.





Yuki-His mom hates him, he has been verbally and physically abused all his life, he is very quiet and shy and has low self-esteem and has more than anyone been attacked by the head of the family. He wants to leave the family and make his own desicsions but he is unable to and is constantly a rival with kyo. However, with Tohru, he is slowly emerging from his shell and getting better, I believe Tohru is the one who will ultimatley save him. He sees her as a mother figure...a figure he never truly had. He is also astranged from his brother but is getting better. When he was young he also was pushed aside and suffers from breathing problems.





Kyo-The cat, he is a burden and curse to the family. His mother committed suidice because of him and so his father hated and abandoned him. The other members including Akito also hate him for being the cat and is not included in the family and is to be locked away after he graduates high school just like Kazuma's grandfather. He is also a rival with Yuki and wants to be apart of the family. Luckily kazuma raised him and he grew up loved by him. Despite his problems he met Tohru and she has healed the wounds in his heart and as of chapter 122 I believe (SPOIOLER) kisses her.

Reply:I adore Yuki-kun!!! I absolutely love him!!!!!! He rocks!!!!!! He's the best!!!!!!! Go Yuki!!!!!!!!! He's my precious baby! But to your question they both have it bad... Kyo is neglected and ignored by most of the Sohmas... but Yuki was sold by his own mother!!!! Yuki was tortured as a young child!!! I think Yuki had it worse!!! Poor kid! I would kill my mom if she sold me! Plus he has a super annyoing brother to deal with too!
Reply:I LOVE FRUITS BASKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love both of them 2 but I think Kyo has it worse b/c he is excluded from the Chinese Zodiac and b/c of wat Akito said if he doesn't defeat Yuki by graduation he won't get 2 c the light again
Reply:Kyo has it worse. He will never be accepted into the family (zodiac). Not that he should worry about that, becasue everyone in that family in really strange.





Also he's got the 'true form' that's like a monster. I sure wouldn't want that.





Yuki is everyone's favorite.

i think after look at ch 280's or up, i can't read japanese so i only look the picture. Kyo kiss her (%26gt;_%26lt;) after she fell from cliff because Akito. Poor Tohru @_@

They both were abused and abandon and accepted. Yuki was accepted as part of the family even though he was abused. Kyo as a child was accepted only by Kazuma.





Each person has different pains, different levels of pain, and different ways to handle pain. Their pain was their own and no one else’s. They are two different people and learned how to deal with stress in a different manner, so their wounds are different from each other, but it is still the same.

Reply:I like 'em both. But I really love Kyo. Poor guy. He's so wrapped up, he just doesn't get it. And he's hilarious. And, he's a cat. I mean, how snuggly is that? (I officially feel about 10 years younger than I really am right now).





And in the last english edition that came out (I don't remember which it is)... there are some nice little hints for Tohru and Kyo. I can't wait till the next one!
