Fruits basket?

do you know when Ayame and Shigure put their fingers together and it makes a symbol. What does it mean?

Fruits basket?
This is a Kanji symbol, originally from ancient China, adapted by the Japanese. It is read 'hito' in Japanese and 'ren' in Chinese. It means person or man(humankind), and since it uses two strokes, it's sorta like a proverb in Japanese I guess.

P.S. We have the same first name!!
Reply:I don't remember that scene, but if it's this "人" it means hito = a person. (you will need japanese characters enabled to see it correctly) I know there was one part where Shigure said you can't have hito without two lines supporting each other.
Reply:it means person
