Doe anyone know y kisa calls hatori grandpa hatori? i mean he is not that old! 27

In japanese version of manga Kisa calls Hatori: Ojiisan... "ojiisan" means unckle... but in anime they change "ojiisan" to grandpa... I guess she's doing it in some sort of respect to the older Sohmas... Thats all...
