Can anyone tell me what happened at the end of the fruits basket manga?

I have finnished watching the fruits basket anime and thought itw as really good and someone told me to read the manga as well because it "shocking".





Right now with school and work I cdon't have the time to read the manga.





So for those who have read it can you please tell me the details of the ending?

It's a happy ending for all characters.





Kyo end up with Tohru. There are some scenes showing they're old but still hold hands and they have a grandaughter too.





Yuki was with Machi. They're scenes showing Yuki gave Machi his apartment's keys





Akito was with Shigure. Akito started wearing female clothes and shown with longer hair.





Haru with Rin.





Ayame with Mine.





An older looking and cuter Momiji. He confessed that he fell in love with Tohru!! ^_^





etc etc...

Reply:well there is waaaaay more to it than in the anime. The anime is also completely different from the manga at parts. Anywho, i'll try my best to explain it.





-kyo and toruh FINALLY admit they love each other


-yuki discovers he loves toruh more as a mother


-akito is a GIRL


-akito and toruh become friends


-akito and shigure get together


-rooster guy and toruhs punk friend get together


-the curse breaks on its own





please read the manga, it is sooo much better when you actually read it. (plus i left a lot of important things out due to lack of space) Just look up fruits basket manga scans on google. You'll probably find something!

Reply:i haven't read the manga (on book 5) but i have seen the anime at at the end keo turned into his 'true form' infront of tohru she got got scared and ran off and in the end they all lived hapily ever after. then she went to see akito to see if she could stay at the sohma house (he told her to leave) he fliped and tried to attack her then she told him she is really sad that in the end he will die so he lets her stay.





thats the anime i don't know if the manga is diffrent since i am on book 5
