i've watched the anime version and it was all really short so i'm thinking of buying the manga but i'm not sure if its as good.


is it worth buying?

It is absolutely amazing. Its impacted my life soo much.





There are 23 volumes in all. The 19th just come out recently.





Just 4 more to go!

Reply:I actually find that once you've seen an anime series of a manga series before you've read it, you won't really read it unless it's really capturing. This is not one of those mangas. You will not want it to end. You will keep reading it. I found I was kind of ripped off from the anime not having a real ending, but the manga has a good ending and filled me with a sense of completion. You also get to meet the other missing zodiac members, which is also great =)
Reply:I liked it a lot at first but the manga seems to be the same thing over and over again. You meet a million kids that have aweful parents, or things like that. The art changes a lot to (which kind of annoyed me too) A lot of my friends do love to read it though. All of them like the mangas better than the anime so it's completely up to you. I'm not sure how many there are. I think they're still coming out...o.o However I'm behind in that series I stopped reading at 17 but I'm betting there is around 23 of them.

Reply:Yeah, I know, the anime had a crappy ending, the manga is MUCH better and totally worth buying. There are 23 volumes in all, but I think only 19 are out in English.


If you want to read the rest (or see if its worth it) you can download them free from Anime-Eden (http://www.anime-eden.com/page/manga/fru... or view it online (MangaVolume.com is a good place too), but if you really like it you should buy the books to support the mangaka ^.^

at the begining i wanted to say that you should read the manga online..but in my opinion, it's really annoying reading manga online..¬_¬


if i can remember well, there were 23 or 24 volumes.


and it is good to read, it's longer than the anime, it DOES have an ending [ the anime didn't ¬_¬ ] , it explains a lot of things, so you can go ahad and buy it ^.^

Reply:Yes, its definitely worth it! You get to find out more about the characters and there are more Zodiac members and other characters (e.g.: Machi of the student council) if you read the manga. ^^ You also get to find out who Tohru ends up with (Kyo or Yuki). But if you want to save money you could check the volumes out in your local library or go to a website that have manga scans. http://onemanga.com is the best =)They have all the volumes.
