Fruits basket kyoko(thoru's mother) question...SPOILERS?

so...i'm still reading fruits bakset(2 more volumes left) and i found an interesting mistake. at least i think it is a mistake. it goes something like this:


at some chapter(don't know witch one) it says that kyoko's car crashed into another car(a car of a girls father....don't know her name) and that he died at the spot(the girl's father)


but at the chapter 120(i think) kyo says that he didn't grab her(kyoko's) hand when she was crossing the street when he saw a truck cuz he was afraid that he is going to change into a cat.





so how did she die?


this is a big mistake for someone to make. i don't understand.

I don't think it ever directly stated that Kyoko's car crashed with another. I think she died by a car crashing into her while she was crossing the street, because Kyo directly said that he had a chance to grab her but didn't because of his transformation. BTW, the driver of the car who crashed into Kyoko was the father of Kakeru Manabe's girlfriend, Komaki Nakao. :]
