Does anyone here very familiar on how to make chocolate sauce to be dipped with strawberries?? help!!!?
For 9 chocolate dipped strawberries: In the top of a double boiler set over simmering (not boiling) water heat semisweet chocolate (2 squares-2 oz.) and butter (1 tablespoon), stirring until melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from over water. Cool slightly. Holding by the stem, dip each strawberry into chocolate mixture, coating strawberry halfway. Place strawberries on baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Let stand until chocolate sets.
Reply:1. Melt any type of chocolate, dark or white, in the microwave for one minute, or till it is JUsT melted.

2. Grab the strawberries by the stem. Dip the tip in the melted chocolate.

3. Place the chocolate coated fruit on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.

4. After 45 minutes, use a sharp knife and run it through the bottoms of the strawberries so that it comes off the wax paper.

5. Important tip: Dip the strawberries with just one swish. Try to get them dipped in one try, and not two or three.

6. Also yummy: chocolate covered grapes.

2 tablespoons shortening

1 pound fresh strawberries with leaves

Insert toothpicks into the tops of the strawberries.

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and shortening, stirring occasionally until smooth. Holding them by the toothpicks, dip the strawberries into the chocolate mixture.

Turn the strawberries upside down and insert the toothpick into styrofoam for the chocolate to cool.
Reply:take 16 oz of milk chocolate chips and 2 tbsp. of shortening and melt together in a double boiler or a deep pan until smooth. with a toothpick inserted into any kind of fruit u want dip the fruit into the chocolate, then turn up side down and insert the other end of the toothpick into a piece of Styrofoam until the chocolate is cooled. if u cool it in a freezer or where ever it will cool to fast and cause the chocolate to break off of the fruit.
Reply:You need to start with hard chocolate to make dipped fruit, like chocolate chips or blocks of melting chocolate. Just melt it and dip your fruits. Put it on sheets of waxed paper to harden. You may refrigerate it after dipping. Make sure your fruit is totally dry before you dip too.
Reply:well first of all your supposed to melt it then you dip the stuff in it but you should take chocolate and melt it over the stove keep stirring and adding a little milk at a time then at the end it should be perfectly good to dip your snacks and treats in good luck!
Reply:What you need is solid chocolate. Melt it carefully, dip your berries and set them on a sheet of parchment and let the chocolate cool and set. Be SURE your berries are washed and absolutely dry before dipping.
Reply:Go to a baking store and buy chocolate pellets. All you have to do is melt them down, and coat the fruit. You can put the covered pieces into the fridge or freezer to set.
